Code of Ethics
In early 2016, ALTEO Group published its Code of Ethics, set up an anonymous online reporting platform, and regulated the rules of procedure for ethics investigations.
The ALTEO Group ethics hotline is available via phone two afternoons per week, as well as via the online reporting system free of charge, year-round, 24/7.
Our Code of Ethics is available to anyone interested on the ALTEO Group website. The Code of Ethics was presented to our staff in the context of in-situ training, which also provided a great opportunity to get answers to any questions they may have had.
When formulating the ALTEO Group Code of Ethics, we wanted to create a useful guide that would offer help and protection to our employees and provide information to our partners about the standards of behavior represented and required by our Group. It provides a summary of ALTEO Group’s core ethical principles, the specificities of our behavioral and corporate culture, the possibilities for the enforcement of interests, the priorities and various responsibility issues.
The ALTEO Group Code of Ethics is a useful guide, which provides information to our partners about the standards of behavior represented and required by our Group, and offers protection to our employees. The document summarizes our fundamental ethical principles, the nature of our conduct and corporate culture, the avenues of interest enforcement, priorities and specific issues of liability.
The standards established in the Code of Ethics of the Group impose higher requirements on Group employees compared to existing laws because we believe that in certain cases, well-meaning actions that do not otherwise violate any law may also have adverse consequences for the company and our employees.
In addition to fundamental ethical principles like the protection and respect of universal human rights, integrity, trust, humanity, tolerance and responsibility, our culture is built on a number of shared corporate values such as fairness, commitment, expertise, effectiveness, the pursuit of excellence, sustainability and good atmosphere.
Human rights
The Company is committed to respect for human rights, which includes, among others: non-discrimination, freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom of expression, respect for private and family life.
Fairness, transparency
We are honest, fair and trustworthy. We condemn and stand firm against corruption in all its forms.
Sustainability
We strive to lead the Group by treating sustainability as a priority, which requires strategic thinking, commitment and a high level of operating culture. Full transparency is, thus, an indispensable tool and goal.
Fair market practices
We are committed to ensuring fair and free competition in the economy, in order to maintain the market competition necessary for an efficient economy.
Commitment
We are committed to our customers, teammates, communities, owners, suppliers and partners, and we want our business units to make a positive overall contribution to the development of society.
Expertise and pursuit of excellence
We want to be the best in everything we do. We aim to perform our tasks at a high standard, to the satisfaction of ourselves and our partners.
Effectiveness
While complying with our core values, we aim to engage in business activities that allow us to increase the profitability of our Group from year to year.
Respect for others, honesty
In our work and in our business relationships, we treat everyone with respect, and in our communications with each other, we respect and value the opinions and views of others.
